Helping Adolescent Girls Navigate and Nurture
The Waco Hanan Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering and uplifting young girls in the Greater Waco community by providing them with the guidance, resources, and skills needed to become leaders. Hanan’s purpose is to nurture academic accomplishments, character development, and community participation.
WHAT WE DO:
The Waco Hanan Foundation hosts three monthly events: A Pearl Party, an Enrichment Activity, and a Volunteer Opportunity. Pearls are encouraged to participate in at least two activities each month. Every event is thoughtfully designed to foster leadership, build character, and promote healthy habits. In addition, we work individually with each Pearl to set and support personal monthly goals, ensuring continuous growth and empowerment.
Promote engagement with professionals who support their projects and their journey toward becoming change-makers and innovators. Encourage the adoption and application of higher standards in education, conduct, and lifestyle.
Mentorship
Through meticulously designed programs and workshops, Hanan aims to provide young women with the guidance, resources, and skills needed to become young leaders and make meaningful contributions to the Waco community paving their paths to success.
Teach and Support
Community Support
Identify and respond to community needs to help girls become empathetic and reflective individuals. Through our initiatives, girls will engage in volunteer opportunities, offering their time and talents to support local causes and strengthen the Waco community. Together, we are fostering a spirit of service and leadership among the next generation.
IT IS NOT ABOUT BEING THE 'FIRST' OR THE 'ONLY'... IT'S ABOUT CREATING A PATHWAY FOR THE GIRLS COMING UP.
